Elizabeth Weatherby is known as the founder of Feed My Lambs, Inc., a sought-after Christian speaker, a faithful servant who holds Bible studies in homeless shelters, government housing homes, prisons and local businesses.  Her love for Jesus and for people are both exciting and contagious.

Many churches, radio stations and newspapers have recognized her outstanding community service.  She was awarded the Community Service Award in 1994 by Miss Georgia USA, was chosen as the TBS Citizen of the Week in 1995, and was nominated for the 1996 Jack Vaughn Humanitarian Award for her work in the Cobb County Georgia Community.  Elizabeth and the ministry are often featured on Atlanta TV stations TBN and WATC Channel 57 to spread the word about Jesus Christ.

Kells Weatherby II
President

Kells Weatherby has acted as president of Feed My Lambs, Inc., for over six years, which currently operates 9 schools, consisting of around 1700 children. The schools are located in and around the Atlanta, GA. area; Piedras Negras & Nava, Mexico; and Liberia, Africa.

Kells worked in church ministry for more than 10 years, serving in numerous capacities ranging from janitor to pastor. He has been an ordained minister since 1998. He served at Mount Paran Church of God East, McCaysville Church of God, Mount Paran Church of God North and Brownsville Assembly of God, where he was the Executive Assistant to the Pastor. He offers his time through various community involvement programs including emcee at Maximum Impact, Bible studies, leadership development, and as a guest speaker and singer for local churches and special events. He also was the lead singer in the Atlanta band, Beckon. Kells has led and worked with many mission teams internationally, from Africa to Mexico, Japan, Cambodia and Belize.  Through all of his life experiences, he lives with the understanding that “LOVE WINS”.

Kells and his family reside in a northern suburb of Atlanta.

 

James Thomas
Executive Administrator

James A. Thomas III is the Executive Business Administrator at Feed My Lambs. He and his wife Katherine and their four children, Allie, Cameron, Nyah, and Micah, reside in Marietta, Ga. James has been a member of Liberty Church locally since 1993. He was born in Washington, DC and is the last of nine siblings. He served our country for 14 years in the U.S. Army in the Signal Corps, as a Drill Sergeant with a Joint Services command assignment for NSA on Johnston Atoll. His life’s most impacting moments are being in E. Berlin before the wall was torn down, running marathons, working as a professional umpire for 8 years, his mission trip to Mexico and his time with his children.

James has been with Feed My Lambs since October 2001 and he brings a quality and discipline to our home office that is vital in the daily operation of the organization. We value his heart, loyalty and devotion to this ministry.

Blake Weatherby
Director of Operations

Blake is the current Director of Operations for Feed My Lambs. He is the youngest son of Kells and Elizabeth Weatherby. He has played a helpful part in the operations of Feed My Lambs in assisting both of his parents in community endeavors since the early 90’s. Working alongside his father, he learned the in-and-outs of making FML operations work efficiently.

Blake is married to Shannon Weatherby and lives in Kennesaw, Ga. Both Shannon and Blake enjoy taking mission trips together and spending time with their Siberian husky, Achilles.

Shannon Weatherby
Education and Events Coordinator

Shannon Weatherby is the Director of Education for Feed My Lambs. She spent many years working inthe Feed My Lambs schools as a cook, assistant teacher and teacher while she was getting her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services. After graduation, she worked as the Assistant to the Director of Education, where she helped get the Feed My Lambs, City of Refuge, preschool up and running in 2008.

She had the opportunity to travel with her husband and president of Feed My Lambs to Cambodia, where sheworked in an orphanage and delivered supplies to people in the water village. She then traveled with them to Liberia where she helped dedicate wells within the local community and dedicate a Feed My Lambs school. Most recently, she graduated with her Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health, where she focuses on children of trauma and abuse. She is also a play therapist and forensic interviewer for children of abuse. She has spent over a decade dedicating her life to serving children and adolescents.

She is the wife of Blake Weatherby, and they have been married for five years. She and her husband love traveling and spending time with their two energetic dogs, Juno and Gaia. She and her husband live in Kennesaw.

Alesia Nease 
Office Manager & Bookkeeper

Alesia has been a part of Feed My Lambs since 2004. She originally started out at our Woodstock location as a cook but after returning to school herself she was able to join the corporate team in Marietta where she has been the bookkeeper and office manager for the past several years. Alesia is the mother of three children and resides in Woodstock.
